Genuine freshwater pearl necklace. Edison pearl.
I can send the piece to get a Gia certificate for an extra $50.
This is natural, unlike the dyed pearls you see frequently on Etsy or elsewhere.
The color of this piece was light purple when came out from the mussels. It then go through all the normal, harm free standard processing steps for freshwater pearls, through which the color was strengthened.
This piece is rare in the sense:
1) size is huge for freshwater pearls.
2) for this size, to get such smooth and clean surface is hard
3) To get such uniform color is very hard because colors can have different shades.
The pearl is cored. Not all nacre.
Will come with a gold filled( yellow color) or white gold plated 925 silver clasp. Can use 14k or 18k clasp upon request. The fee will depends on the 14/18k clasp’s weight.
